Jute comes from the more humid areas of Bangladesh and is made from the stalks of the cochorous grass.
The fibre is fine and very soft to the touch and is supplied in its natural undyed colour.Jute should only be used in areas of very light wear such as bedrooms.
Jute is prone to watermarking when water is spilt onto it, intec stain protection should be applied to minimise this problem and to aid with removal of general stains and spillages.
