We pride ourselves on the quality of our staff and the quality of their work. Brothers Allen and Darren Sidney are both NICF Masterfitters (Darren is also a Masterfitter in Designer Tile). They head up two of the seven fitting teams and are responsible along with the other Masterfitters for the in-house training of the apprentice fitters. All the teams are made up of two installers. The second team member can be anywhere from trainee to a Master fitter. We expect all fitters to gain Masterfitter status in all floor covering disciplines.

As well as our in-house training, we use outside training providers. Steve’s two sons; Steve and Craig are another of the teams (Steve represented the UK along with Matt Bourne and Chris Poser) in the European Team Carpet and Floor laying competition in 2007 in Hanover, Germany after competing in the UK heats with some of the best carpet fitters and floor layers in the UK. All our fitting teams have worked for the Company either from leaving school or in excess of ten years. Darren, Gary, Andy and Nathan are in charge of our other teams and are all NICF Masterfitters, more than qualified to ensure we deliver over and above our customers expectations.

We are retailer members of The National Institute of Carpet and Floor layers and actively support them by insisting all our fitting staff are not only NICF accredited but stay up to date with new techniques and equipment. We use the NICF training arm FITA for fitter training in all aspects of floor preparation and the installation of all types of flooring. Our fitters regularly attend specialist courses by manufacturers and nominated training facilities such as FITA including Amtico, Karndean, Specialist installations of Sisals and Seagrass, Border Installations and Preparation of all types of subfloors including the application of moisture barriers and specialist leveling compounds.
